Chris B and his party happy times

June started with high hopes some salmon and impressive sea-trout. There have been decent runs but the water levels and weather have been tricky for our rods.
A new rod Andrew W sampled the beat for two days with his fishing friend and although one or two fish were about sadly nothing took interest. Hopefully when they come back up north the conditions will be more favourable.
Marney S and her friends are regulars and Barry Mitchell looked after them well as ever. Some fish took an interest and a salmon was on the line Monday but managed to get off sadly the run that had been seen petered out and nothing else was reported except everyone had a good time.
Chris B and his party followed up with conditions very much against them so good food and wine eased the pain and at the last knocking on Saturday evening a lovely 4 1/2lb sea-trout was bagged well done!
